Our legal fees are designed to be clear and transparent. Such fees are as follows:

General Counsel Services: atg law charges a flat fee monthly retainer based on the size and complexity of the company needing general counsel services.

Attorney Trust Services (escrow/paymaster services): our general fee is one percent (1%) of all monies received related to any transaction. This fee may be scaled downward for established clients who have regular and repeat transactions, and for transactions that are extraordinarily large.

Full Transactional Representation: ATG Law charges competitive hourly rates for full transactional representation, which includes document production, communication with all parties in the transaction, and due diligence and compliance with all other related and necessary tasks in a transaction. Clients will lodge a retainer with atg law, and our lawyers will bill at their hourly rates against that retainer.

ATG Law charges a refundable $2,500 file set up fee. You will be credited back $2,500 upon the successful closing of your transaction. The reason we charge a file set up fee is to offset initial staff costs in setting up files and doing due diligence background checks (they are significant). The other and more important reason is to sort out the intermediaries and proxy buyers and sellers who don’t have a real transaction and generally waste a lot of our time. Finally, if a prospective client cannot post this nominal refundable fee, then that client is not a good fit for ATG Law. And they’re likely not a serious and real businessperson anyway.
